Caleb's Birthday!

Here they are-the much awaited pictures of our new little Caleb Thomas Williams! He was born Friday September 19 at 1:39 PM. He weighed 7 lbs 7 oz. and is 21 inches.

Here's the tired but happy mommy, after 3 hours of pushing-what a workout!

He has a full head of dark hair-and from what we can tell he definitely has mommy's ears. :)

Jeremy was an excellent labor coach and now a proud new father.

Snug as a bug in a rug! He loves to be swaddled tight.

Posted by PicasaHere he is-all ready to go home on Sunday afternoon. It is wonderful to be home!
Friends and family-we love you all. Thanks for your love and support. We feel so very blessed.

Waiting on Pins and Needles!

Well, I've been off work for 2 1/2 weeks now, and really enjoying the rest! It's amazing how fast the day goes by and how easy it is to waste it when I'm left to myself! The baby's room is all ready to go, and we're getting super excited for his birthday. It should be any day now!

Jeremy says it's like waiting for a Christmas present-and I agree-he will be quite a gift, and I can't wait to see his little face. Hopefully he'll look just like Jeremy. :) Fortunately I have finally stopped gaining weight (yay) and here's an update at 39 1/2 weeks. I don't even recognize that girl in the picture. :)
We'll be sure and post baby pictures as soon as we can!

Hi there everyone! This is my first attempt at "blogging," so here we go. I hope to keep everyone updated and keep better in touch!

We are very much looking forward to the arrival of our baby boy, who is growing strong and loves to tickle Mom in the ribs and wiggle around. Mom will work just for the next 4 weeks and then take a much needed break before the baby comes!

The pregnancy has gone well-no complications, and here we are at 33 1/2 weeks!

We continue to enjoy working around the house-Jeremy is a pro at keeping our grass the envy of the neighborhood, and I love taking care of my pots and flowerbeds of petunias and a few vegetables. (We have had homegrown lettuce for a few months, and our zucchini and summer squash are growing like crazy. We should get a good crop of tomatoes from our little bush, and it looks like maybe one pepper and one or two cucumbers! For a city girl that's quite an accomplishment. :)

The weather has been beautiful here-we never want the summer to end!
